Aston Merrygold is best known for his incredible stage presence as part of the chart-topping band JLS, who stormed the UK pop scene with five Number 1 singles, over 10 million records sold, and countless sold-out arena tours. With over 25 years in entertainment, Aston has become a true multi-hyphenate performer – from pop star to actor, dancer to TV personality.
With a thriving solo career, Aston has toured globally, performing across the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Italy and beyond. His solo hits include platinum debut Get Stupid, followed by fan favourites like Sweat, Right Here, and You Chose Me. He’s also wowed audiences in the West End in productions such as Footloose and The Wizard of Oz, and became one of Strictly Come Dancing’s most talked-about contestants in 2017.
No stranger to the screen, Aston has starred in BBC’s Almost Never, the feature film Boogie Man, and was unmasked as Robin in the 2021 series of The Masked Singer UK. Also a judge on Got To Dance, his charisma has shone across several formats.
