Charlie Hedges is the host of the UK’s biggest Dance Show, BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems every Saturday from 4-7pm.
Bringing her passion and enthusiasm for dance music, Charlie now hosts 2 hours of Classic Anthems and an hour of Today’s Anthems each week. Charlie also hosts a Drive Time Dance Anthems show on BBC Radio 1 Dance Monday to Friday 3-6pm. Charlie is also the host of BBC Radio 1’s iconic Live Lounge alongside Rickie & Melvin.
Charlie by night has toured the globe playing some of the biggest dance events and festivals including a residency with Ibiza Rocks, Drumsheds London, Amnesia Ibiza, Boardmasters, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Pacha Ibiza, Isle of Wight Festival, Summerdaze Malta and many more.
Charlie has also released various house tracks on labels such as Spinnin Records, Universal Music, Defected Records and a remix of Ella Henderson & Tom Grennan’s Let’s Go Home Together released on Atlantic Records. Charlie also has remixes under her belt for the likes of Rudimental and Clean Bandit.
Charlie has also been exploring the TV world, appearing on the likes of The Hit List, The Weakest Link, Pointless, Catchphrase, Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing.
Whether she's DJing, presenting, or interviewing, Charlie brings the same energy, quick wit and natural ability to connect with any audience.
